The much-talked-about Laal Diary (Red Diary) is once again in discussions during the Assembly elections. The reason for the discussion is four pages that have gone viral on social media since Tuesday evening, which are claimed to be part of the diary. Allegedly, these pages mention a conversation between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot and Congress leader Dharmendra Rathore. It is difficult to determine whether these pages are genuine or false.
After being expelled from Congress and now contesting on Shiv Sena’s ticket, Rajendra Singh Gudha, who created a political stir after being expelled from the party, had mentioned the red diary, although there was no specific mention in the pages released at that time. However, now, the red diary is back in the discussion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the BJP, has been mentioning the red diary to attack the Gehlot-led Congress government in every election rally. Now, the viral pages could cause trouble for Congress regarding the conversation between Chief Minister Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot and Dharmendra Rathore. This has allowed the opposition to attack. The PM has mentioned that the government will not be repeated. With the reappearance of the red diary pages, the political atmosphere in Rajasthan has heated up.
Allegations and counter-allegations have started from both sides. It is being referred to as the BJP IT cell’s conspiracy by Congress. While the BJP is not leaving any stone unturned to surround the Congress. Along with this, the diary also mentions the case related to MLA P.R. Meena’s land. Several names are mentioned on these pages, including former minister Raghur Sharma and IAS officer Kunjilal Meena.
According to the alleged red diary, MLA P.R. Meena informed Dharmendra Rathore about all the conversations with officers. In a way, serious things have been said about Rathore, who is considered close to Chief Minister Gehlot. When the four new pages of the diary come out, the BJP has become the target. While releasing a statement, BJP State President CP Joshi said that it has been written repeatedly in the pages of Lal Diary that the game of mine allocation is going on in Rajasthan only at the behest of CM Gehlot and Dharmendra Rathore.
The big leaders whose names are in the diary have stopped picking up the phones. When they were contacted for clarification, the phones were found switched off.
