Defection fear haunts political parties post Ajit Pawar story

For the last one month, the smell of political upheaval had started in Maharashtra and it culminated on July 2 with the split of Sharad Pawar-Ajit Pawar and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
Earlier, there was a split in the Shiv Sena. Congress became alert after the rebellion in both these parties. Maharashtra Congress, a member of the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance, has also called a meeting of the party’s MLAs.
Maharashtra Congress has called a meeting of the party’s MLAs. The main reason for calling the meeting is because the Congress is afraid that some of its MLAs may also be poached.
But it is certain that Ajit Pawar’s rebellion will lead to a split in the Mahavikas Aghadi. It is a different matter that in this hour of trouble, senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan appeared along with Sharad Pawar. At this time, it cannot be said in which direction, the current developments will move, but the opposition parties are alleging that BJP is repeatedly working to break the opposition in many states to remain in power. In the last few years, similar incidents have also been seen in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
RJD MP Manoj Jha has said that the BJP is using the investigative agencies to intimidate the leaders of the opposition parties and is forcing them to support the BJP under the pressure of going to jail. Now, everyone’s eyes are fixed on Bihar because such statements are being made continuously from Bihar, in which it is being said that now it is JDU’s next turn.
