Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis have ordered strict action by registering an FIR on the alleged incident 2-3 Muslim men offering ‘Chader’ in Trimbakeshwar temple.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also ordered the formation of an SIT headed by Additional Director General of Police rank officers to probe the incident. The SIT will probe not only this year’s incident, but also last year’s incident when a certain mob allegedly entered the Trimbakeshwar temple complex through the main entrance gate.
When some people belong to other community were trying to enter into the temple forcefully during that time some people made video and uploaded it on social media. As soon as it got viral, Maharashtra govt came into action and ordered the local police to probe the incident immediately.
A case of youths of other community forcibly entering Nashik’s famous Trimbakeshwar temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, has come to the fore. The Maharashtra government swung into action after the video of this incident two days back went viral.
Some of the accused have been arrested and search is on for the rest. Maharashtra’s Deputy CM and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered an SIT probe into the matter. ADG rank officer is investigating.
