A young man from Jamui posing as a custom officer made the current BJP MLA of West Champaran victim of fraud was arrested by police. As such, the case of cheating keeps coming to the bow every day. In which due to greed, common people easily become victims of fraud. Actually the latest case is related to a sitting MLA. It is said that a young man from Khaira police station area of the district has cheated BJP MLA Vinay Bihari of West Champaran’s Lauria assembly constituency by posing as a custom officer to the tune of one lakh 54 thousand. In which MLA Vinay Bihari has been duped by fraudsters by promising to get him a cheap car during auction in custom. The MLA had registered a case regarding this at the Kotwali police station in Patna. After which during the investigation it was found that the fraudsters are residents of Khaira police station area of Jamui. The fraudulent money which was deposited in his father’s account. After which Khaira police station has also arrested fraud Ramashish Yadav’s father Nago Yadav in this case. Here, MLA Vinay Bihari told that Niwas Singh, a resident of Khaira police station area, had met me two years ago by changing his name and becoming a custom officer and he called himself my fan. After which he sometimes used to talk to me on the phone. Then suddenly one day he told that my duty is in Kolkata and vehicles like Fortuner, Creta and Bullet were being auctioned here. He further tempted MLA by saying, “I will get you the car cheaply.” After which the MLA came under his guise and got the money deposited in his said account. Niwas Singh did not pick up the phone after depositing the amount. After which the MLA had registered a case in this matter in Patna. Where the accused was arrested by the Jamui police is being interrogated in this case.
