Taapsee Pannu tied the knot with Danish badminton player Mathias Boe in Udaipur a few days ago, surrounded by family and close friends. The couple has not made an official announcement yet.
According to NDTV, the couple had a mehendi and sangeet ceremony prior to the wedding.
The pre-wedding festivities and wedding occurred from March 21 to 24. Taapsee’s Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati, along with her close friends Abhilash Thapliyal (actor of Aspirants) and screenplay writer Kanika Dhillon, attended the wedding.
Badminton players Satwiksai Raj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who are coached by Mathais Boe, were also in attendance at the wedding. The event was organized by The Wedding Factory, an event management company owned by Taapsee, her sister Shagun Pannu, and Farah Sood.
A few days ago, Pavail Gulati posted a picture from what appears to be a wedding celebration on his Instagram profile. The image features Pavail, Shagun, and Abhilash Thapliyal. Sharing the picture, Pavail wrote, “Twinkle Twinkle little star, we have no idea where we are!”

Kanika Dhillon, reportedly in attendance at the wedding, posted several pictures of herself from the festivities. One photo captured her alongside her husband, Himanshu Sharma. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Keeping it peach.” She added the hashtag “MereYaarKiShaadi.”

Abhilash Thapliyal posted a picture from the Holi celebrations featuring Taapsee and Mathias. In the picture, their faces are smeared with colours. Sharing the picture, Abhilash wrote, “Hamari toh Holi.”

According to a 2014 NDTV report, Taapsee and the badminton star initially met at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013. Mathias Boe represented the Lucknow-based team Awadhe Warriors, while Taapsee Pannu served as the brand ambassador for champions Hyderabad Hotshots.
In recent years, Taapsee appeared in Vinil Mathew’s ‘Haseen Dillruba’ alongside Vikrant Massey. She also starred in ‘Shabaash Mithu’, a film based on the life of Indian cricket captain Mithali Raj.
Taapsee Pannu made her debut as a producer with Blurr, in which she also starred alongside Gulshan Devaiah.
Taapsee’s production Dhak Dhak was released last year, featuring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles. Taapsee Pannu’s latest appearance was in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
