This time in IPL, many young players have won the hearts of everyone with their talent. These players proved that if they are given a chance on time, then they have a tremendous appetite to shine in their game. Aayush Badoni, Abhinav Manohar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Lalit Yadav, Tilak Verma and Umran Malik are the players who proved their talent in just the first week of IPL.

Lucknow Super Giants’ Ayush Badoni scored a half-century against Gujarat Titans and in the second match against Chennai, played a match-winning cameo inning, proving that he is a master at hitting big strokes without fear. This player has neither played Ranji Trophy nor Vijay Hazare Trophy but it did not appear so after looking at his batting. He hit a six over mid-wicket of Lockie Ferguson`s one of the fast delivery (146.9 kmph). In another instance, he hit a four over this bowler`s head. Similarly, Rashid Khan, considered to be a very economical bowler, was hit for a six with a slog sweep and he hit three fours and a six of Hardik Pandya’s one over.

Ayush once scored three centuries in Under-14 cricket. Then in the Asia Cup of Under 19, he showed his fast-paced image by hitting four sixes in an over. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul seemed very impressed with him after his two IPL innings. He even called Ayush the AB de Villiers of Lucknow team. He says that he is a 360-degree player and has the ability to play shots everywhere.

Similarly, Shahbaz Ahmed has raised hopes in the IPL after performing brilliantly in domestic cricket. He changed the scenario of the match by hitting Andre Russell for two consecutive sixes. Deepak Hooda is batting consistently well although he has got a chance in Team India. Delhi Capitals’ Lalit Yadav not only batted tenuously but also maintained his strike rate during his innings of 48 off 38 balls against Mumbai Indians.

Lalit has been a student of Delhi’s Shraddhanand College and has played many good innings in local cricket. Similarly, Abhinav Manohar of Karnataka played the role of a finisher in a cameo role against Lucknow while playing for Gujarat, while the same player had been sitting out of the playing XI in the Chennai team for the last several years. While Mumbai’s Tilak Verma got off to a good start against Delhi, RCB’s Anuj Rawat also needs to play with a good strike rate in the future. Shahrukh Khan is also a big hope for Punjab Kings.

In the bowling department, Umran Malik’s fastest delivery in this IPL is 150 kms against Rajasthan Royals. He did wonders by bowling the fastest among all the Indian bowlers in the IPL. Mohsin Khan of Kings has also impressed a lot with his speed. Apart from this, Akashdeep of RCB and Tushar Deshpande and Mukesh Chaudhary of Chennai Super Kings also have given lot of hope in the next matches.
