Music producer Yashraj Mukhate has proudly introduced a new anthem titled “Hockey India Anthem” to support the Indian men’s national field hockey team at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The anthem, composed by Mukhate and written by Alok Ranjan Srivastava, is crafted to resonate powerfully in stadiums and engage fans with its sing-along quality.
Mukhate expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating he enjoyed creating this anthem to elevate team morale and celebrate their recent victory over Australia.Despite not being a sports enthusiast, Mukhate has closely followed the Olympics this year, particularly rooting for the hockey team. He revealed a personal connection to the sport through his family, sharing that his grandfather was a skilled hockey player, though Mukhate and his father ultimately pursued careers in music.
The new anthem aims to boost the team’s spirits as they prepare for their upcoming match against Great Britain on August 4.
