Erika Kirk is also in the limelight after assuming the role of new CEO of Turning Point USA, succeeding her husband Charlie Kirk's assassination. Kirk, 31, and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot dead when he was at an event held at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
Since Erika's promotion to the top spot as CEO, a number of rumors have surrounded the 36-year-old lady. One stated she was a casting director for Donald Trump's Miss USA beauty pageants. Another stated that Erika was ordered out of Romania after her charity was associated with child trafficking.
However, there is interest in the life of Erika Kirk, her Swedish heritage included. Erika has stated that her grandfather was a Swedish war veteran immigrant. So, who is Carl Kenneth Frantzve, Erika's grandfather? Here's everything you need to know.

Carl Kenneth Frantzve was born on 30th January 1922, in Falun, Sweden. He later immigrated to the US and passed away at 94 years of age, in Surprise, Arizona, on 4th October 2016. Carl was married to wife Elaine Wicklund Frantzve, and together they had four children—Kent, Kendra, Kimberly, and Karla. Carl's grandchildren are Cassandra, Scott, Heather, and Jasmine, besides Erika.
His obituary stated, "Remembered by all for his gentle spirit, quiet bravado, beautiful temperament, high moral fiber, and many honors."
Frantzve served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a captain of the Army Corps of Engineers for the Pacific Theater, for which he received a Silver Star and a Bronze Star. He was also knighted by Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, for promoting US-Sweden relations, his obituary added.
Frantzve was Grand Chief of the Independent Order of Vikings from 1977 to 1979, a Swedish-American fraternal organization. He was also Vice President of Manufacturing for American Bank Note Co. The company traces its roots back to 1795 and is reputed to be a safe engraver and printer, who assists in making counterfeit-resistant currency.
Additionally, Erika's grandfather apparently liked baseball, bowling, horse racing, and his stamp and coin collections. Referring to her grandfather, Erika had stated that he was 'always super far right,' CNN said.
