Three killed, 13 injured in accident in Afghanistan’s Kandahar

In an accident in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province, three people died and 13 others suffered injuries,  TOLOnews reported on Tuesday.

Molavi Mullah Mohammad Haqmal, the press representative for the Spin Boldak district, confirmed the incident and stated that it took place on the Spin Boldak-Kandahar road at about 7:30 p.m. (local time).

“Molavi Mullah Mohammad Haqmal, the press officer of Spin Boldak district, confirmed this incident to TOLO News and said that this incident happened around 7:30 pm on the Spin Boldak – Kandahar road,” TOLOnews tweeted.

Since speeding and irresponsible driving continue to be the leading causes of accidents in Afghanistan, the accident’s cause is yet unknown.

Additionally, the frequency of traffic accidents and traffic-related fatalities in Afghanistan has considerably increased due to poorly built roads, road erosion, and violations of traffic laws.
