China lifts restrictions on travel, amid increase in Covid-19 cases.

China is struggling from the nationwide explosion of Covid-19 cases despite this China has decided to uplift quarantine provisions for inbound travelers. The first lot of passengers to arrive under the new rules was on Sunday that landed at airports in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, CGTN news agency reported.
Crematoriums have run out urns and are now using bags to put ashes in Shanghai.
The Chinese authorities have taken a back step on their ravaging “zero Covid” policy. After record breaking protests in China over the harsh measures used by authorities to contain Covid-19. No one from the 387 flyers on the flight from Singapore and Toronto was subjected to Covid-19 tests or the mandatory five-day quarantine after arrival.
All this is happening when the reports coming from China tell a story that is completely different from the officially claimed story by the Chinese Communist Party(CCP). The surge in cases has flooded the Chinese hospitals in metropolitan cities like Shanghai and Beijing. If we believe the reports coming from the censored social media in China, people are forced now to cremate their relatives out in open as the crematoriums have really long ques.
China has uplifted restrictions on domestic and international travel despite the number of cases remaining high. This has forced other nations to impose ban on travel from China as many Chinese national see this as an opportunity to get out of the country. There is a concern over the rapid increase in cases and the emergence of a more harmful variant of coronavirus variant.
