It was a bizarre situation when a lady passenger occupied the seat allotted for the Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha. Chief Minister was returning to Agartala after attending national executive meeting of the BJP. Two IAS officers were accompanying him in the flight. For the Chief Minister they had collected the boarding pass mentioning the allotted seat in the Business class of the Indigo flight. The lady passenger who was seating in economy class behind the business class suddenly came forward and occupied the seat of the Chief Minister. Those officers checked the boarding card and found it was the same seat where the lady was seated. They repeatedly requested the lady passenger but she refused to listen the request. Her argument was Chief Minister should be seated in the economy class. The crew members of the flight threatened her to off load from the plane. After persuasion she finally left the seat and seated in the designated seat for her.
