The on-going hoo-ha in Bollywood, from talks about drugs to demolish- ing talent and what caused Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, has raised many eyebrows of upcoming talents including singer Rahul Jain. Rahul has sung or renowned shows like ‘‘Bepannah’ and ‘Beyhad 2 and is also is a YouTube sensation. The division of the film industry and the increasing nepotism has lead the singer wondering, whether he will get the opportunity to showcase his talent. When asked about the same Rahul replied,

“With the self-made stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kangana Ranaut who made it big in the industry without any Godfather, one lost his life and the other is facing a never-ending struggle. It’s a matter of concern whether I or any talented singer, musician or actor will get a deserving platform or a fair chance to show their talent or not. The industry has become questionable for newcomers like me who started from scratch and not only can sustain talent but can work hard too. Will this nepotism become a for- ever barrier for upcoming talented artists? Do we even stand a chance in Bollywood?” When asked about the division of the Bollywood industry Rahul said, “The way Rhea Chakraborty and Kangana have been facing the society’s wrath politically or socially, it’s obscene and scary. It should be looked at and stopped.
