West Bengal Health Department will hold a virtual meeting with all hospitals on Monday to assess their preparedness in tackling Covid 19. Meanwhile, Debjyoti Dey, Assistant Superintendent of Maniktala ESI hospital said, “We have isolation wards ready for the Covid Positive patients.” Dey further stated, “No one has yet been admitted. But our doctors and nursing staff are ready, we have already received some instruction from the health department and are working on it.” Earlier on 25 December West Bengal reported 9 new COVID-19 cases. However, no deaths were reported in the state, and 5 people recovered from the infection.
