Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla meets PM Narendra Modi after becoming the first Indian to travel to the ISS on the Axiom-4 mission
PM Modi greets Shukla with a hug and walks alongside him, calling the meeting a “proud moment for India.”
Shukla tells Modi: “Food is one of the biggest challenges on the space station. Packing maximum nutrients in minimum space is key.”

The same tricolor was seen behind Shukla during his live call with PM Modi from the ISS on June 29
Shukla: “Wherever I went, people were excited about India’s space achievements. Many even asked me about Gaganyaan.”
The astronaut also showed Modi breathtaking pictures of Earth captured from the International Space Station.
Shukla documented every detail of his mission to support India’s upcoming Gaganyaan programme

Shukla’s mission included astronauts Peggy Whitson (US), Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski (Poland), and Tibor Kapu (Hungary). Together they conducted 60+ experiments and 20 outreach sessions
