Saudi Arabia to Build 92,000-Seat Stadium for FIFA World Cup 2034
Saudi Arabia unveils King Salman Stadium, a 92,000-capacity venue in Riyadh for the 2034 FIFA World Cup
Set to span 660,000 square meters, the stadium will host international events and support Saudi Vision 2030's economic goals
Scheduled for completion by late 2029, it will be the Saudi national football team's home ground
The sports complex will include an indoor hall, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and a 9-km sports track around King Abdulaziz Park
Chosen from six international designs, the stadium meets FIFA standards and features 150-seat royal and 120 hospitality suites
It will also offer 300 VIP seats, 2,200 dignitary seats, and advanced facilities for global sports and entertainment
This project reflects Saudi Arabia's strategy to diversify its economy and enhance global presence through world-class sports events
