S Sreesanth Suspended for 3 Years Over Sanju Samson Controversy
The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has suspended former cricketer S Sreesanth for three years over controversial remarks linked to Sanju Samson
The decision was made during the KCA's General Body meeting in Kochi on April 30
Sreesanth, now co-owner of Kollam Aeries, was accused of making defamatory comments against the KCA
Show-cause notices were issued to Sreesanth and several franchise teams, but only Sreesanth faced action
Sreesanth’s remarks during a TV discussion accused the KCA of bias against Kerala players
The KCA clarified that the notice was for defamatory comments, not for supporting Sanju Samson
The KCA will also file a compensation claim against Sanju Samson’s father and two others for alleged false allegations
This suspension highlights a major fallout in Kerala cricket's recent controversies
