India Will Host FIDE  World Cup In 2025

The tournament will be held from October 30 to November 27

The tournament will see the best chess players in the world compete, including the 2023 champion Magnus Carlsen

In total 206 players will be competing against each other in a knockout format

Players will battle amongst each other for the prestigious FIDE title

Gukesh Dommaraju and Praggnanandhaa R will represent India in the FIDE World Cup 2025

FIDE CEO Emil Sutovsky said "We are thrilled to bring the FIDE World Cup 2025 to India, a country with a deep-rooted passion and support for chess"
