IDF Drops 50 Bombs in 30 Seconds Precision Strike Killing Hamas Commander Sinwar
On May 13, 2025, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) carried out a precision airstrike in Gaza, dropping over 50 bombs within 30 seconds targeting Hamas
The strike targeted a Hamas command and control centre located underground beneath the European Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip
IDF released a 3D illustration showing how the strike was carefully executed to avoid damaging the civilian hospital above
Senior Hamas commander Muhammad Sinwar, a key military leader, and operative Muhammad Shabana were killed in the attack
The command centre was reportedly used by Hamas to coordinate terrorist operations across Gaza, according to Israeli military sources
IDF and Shin Bet security agency said Hamas deliberately endangered civilians by hiding military operations beneath the hospital
The Hamas-run Health Ministry reported 16 fatalities and over 70 injuries as a result of the airstrike
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz warned remaining Hamas leaders like Izz al-Din Haddad and Khalil al-Hayya, saying “you are next in line”
