Hina Khan Appointed Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism
Renowned Indian actress Hina Khan has been officially appointed as the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism from India for the term May 2025 to April 2026
The official appointment ceremony took place on May 9, 2025, at the Korea Tourism Organization's Seoul Center, HiKr Ground, in the presence of Andrew JH Kim, Acting Executive Vice President of the International Tourism Division
During a week-long familiarization trip, Hina explored Korea's rich cultural heritage, visiting historical palaces, traditional hanok villages, and cultural museums, experiencing the harmonious blend of ancient traditions and modern innovations
Hina delved into Korea's vegetarian culinary scene, savoring dishes like bibimbap, japchae, and various vegetable kimchi, highlighting Korea as a welcoming destination for Indian vegetarians
