Harvard’s International Students’ Future Hinges on Meeting 6 Conditions in 72 Hours
Harvard University’s SEVP certification revoked by DHS, blocking enrollment of international students for 2025–2026
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem cited Harvard’s refusal to provide requested information and an unsafe campus environment as reasons
As a result, Harvard cannot admit foreign students on F-1 or J-1 visas; current international students must transfer elsewhere
Condition 1: Submit all records of illegal activity involving nonimmigrant students, on or off campus, in the past five years
Condition 2: Provide all records of dangerous or violent activity by nonimmigrant students, on or off campus, within five years
Condition 3: Submit all records of threats made by nonimmigrant students toward other students or university staff
Condition 4: Provide documentation of incidents where nonimmigrant students may have deprived others of their rights
Condition 5: Submit all disciplinary records of nonimmigrant students enrolled over the past five years
Condition 6: Provide any audio or video footage of protests involving nonimmigrant students on Harvard’s campus in past five years
Harvard must submit requested information within 72 hours to regain certification; false info risks criminal prosecution under US law
