Cloudburst Wreaks Havoc In Himachal Pradesh

40 People missing from the rain havoc in different districts of  Himachal Pradesh

A cloudburst happened late last night in the Samagh Khud region of Rampur in Shimla district, resulting in unexpected and severe flooding

Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap reported that 2 people died and 28 other individuals went missing following the event

He stated that four motorable bridges and footbridges have been washed away, and rescue operations are in full force, The apple crop has also been damaged

Another cloudburst was reported in Thalatukhod area of Padhar in Mandi district

According to Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan, one body has been recovered, while nine persons are reported missing

Due to the overflowing Beas River, the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway has been damaged in several places

An alert has been issued in the Bhuntar area of Kullu as the swollen Parvati River and Malana Khud were flooded, damaging Malana I and Malana II hydropower projects
