Atishi Marlena Singh Is The New CM Of Delhi All You Need To Know About Her

Arvind Kejriwal stumped everyone by announcing to resign as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Sunday.

Kejriwal was released on bail from the Tihar Jail earlier this week in the excise policy graft case.

Arvind Kejriwal proposes Atishi Marlena’s name as next chief minister of Delhi.

Delhi’s wait now ends as it gets a new Chief Minister, Atishi Marlena Singh.

Although Aam Aadmi Party has announced Atishi as the next Chief Minister after Arvind Kejriwal's resignation.  

Atishi was elected to Delhi assembly for the first time in 2020.

She has worked closely with Sisodia on improving the city's schools and education system. 

She has done master's in history from Oxford and a Rhodes scholar

She is currently the minister for Education, Higher Education, TTE, Finance, Planning, PWD, Water, Power, Services, Vigilance, and Public Relations.

She also worked as chairperson of the standing committee on education of the Delhi assembly.

She was appointed as the Minister of Education, P.W.D, Culture and Tourism in the Delhi Government in 2023.

From 2015-2018, Atishi served as an advisor to Sisodia, mainly on the educational front.
