British-Indian YouTuber Arun Maini, known as Mrwhosetheboss, has set a Guinness World Record by creating the largest smartphone replica in the world – a fully functional iPhone that stands over 6 feet tall. Maini, who surpassed Apple in YouTube subscribers, collaborated with tech specialist Matthew Perks (DIYPerks) to build the scaled-up device, which was unveiled in a video on his channel.

Maini’s achievement comes in celebration of his recent milestone of overtaking Apple in YouTube subscribers. “This is the greatest iPhone the world has ever seen. We’ve been working on it for over a year now, racing to overtake Apple in subscribers,” Maini said. The YouTuber explained that the massive iPhone is not just a replica but a “supercomputer of smartphones,” built from scratch.

To qualify for the Guinness World Record, the giant iPhone had to be fully functional. The massive iPhone, dubbed the “iPhone 15 Pro Max Ultra,” boasts an array of impressive features:
- Camera: Equipped with a full-frame Canon EOS R5 camera, its sensor is 1,000% larger than those found in the latest iPhone models. The phone can shoot 8K video and includes an advanced zoom system offering up to 25x optical and 100x digital zoom.
