A teacher in Bihar has sparked controversy after videos surfaced on social media, revealing her casual approach to marking answer sheets. The clips, which have gone viral, depict the teacher seemingly not reading the papers thoroughly as she grades them.

The videos, shared widely on platforms like Instagram, show glimpses of answer sheets with visible student roll numbers. The camera then pans to the teacher, who appears to be casually marking the papers without much attention to detail.

One user, @BiharTeacherCan, shared the footage along with the caption, “Reels of checking copies of PPU exam went viral on Instagram, FIR lodged against madam.” In another clip, the same teacher, now dressed in a saree, is seen grading papers in a classroom alongside other teachers. The videos have collectively garnered over 3.3 million views, sparking outrage among viewers.

Commentators expressed concern over the teacher’s apparent lack of thoroughness in grading, with one user questioning whether she was even reading the content of the papers. Another user suggested that the student whose paper was being graded in the video might have received mediocre marks, as their work seemed to be used merely for creating content.

Critics have accused the teacher of negligence, noting that she appears to be rushing through the grading process without properly assessing the answers for accuracy. The incident has led to the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against the teacher, highlighting the seriousness of the matter.
