Typhoon Yagi, Asia’s most powerful storm this year, was downgraded to a tropical depression after causing significant damage in northern Vietnam over the weekend. Striking on Saturday, the storm devastated the country’s industrial hubs, damaging factories and infrastructure. Although the storm has weakened, authorities continue to warn of potential flooding and landslides as Yagi moves westward.

Amid the destruction, a heartwarming moment has gone viral, highlighting the resilience and unity of the Vietnamese people. A video posted on Instagram by Tubudd.com, a digital platform connecting travelers with local guides, has garnered 300 lakh views. The video shows a biker struggling against the storm’s fierce winds, only to be shielded by nearby cars that formed a protective barrier. In another clip, a group of motorcyclists is seen being carefully guided by cars moving at a steady pace, ensuring their safety during the storm.

Hundreds more have been injured, and the destruction of vital infrastructure in northern Vietnam remains extensive.
