In a grand display of devotion and tradition, billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his family took part in the Ganpati Visarjan ceremony on Sunday night in Mumbai, marking the conclusion of their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The Ambani family had welcomed Lord Ganesh into their residence, Antilia, two days prior and performed the immersion ceremony at Chowpatty Beach.

Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, the Ambani family was seen participating in the festivities with great enthusiasm. Radhika Merchant, the youngest daughter-in-law, stood out as she danced joyfully alongside her husband, Anant Ambani, who looked on with delight. Both were smeared in festive colors, symbolizing the spirit of celebration, as they joined the crowd in honor of the occasion.

Nita Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and Anant Ambani were spotted on a flower-adorned truck, making their way from Antilia to the beach, where the Ganesh idol would be immersed. Mukesh Ambani, however, chose to arrive at the venue separately in a car.
Celebrities Join in the Celebrations
Several notable figures from the entertainment industry joined the Ambanis for the immersion ceremony. Among them were actors Meezaan Jafri, Shanaya Kapoor, and social media influencer Orry. The presence of these personalities added a glamorous touch to the already grand event.
Grand Celebrations at Antilia
A day before the Visarjan, the Ambani family hosted an extravagant celebration at their South Mumbai residence in honor of Ganesh Chaturthi. The event was graced by some of Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Rekha, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday, Bhumi Pednekar, and Sonam Kapoor.
The idol of Lord Ganesh at Antilia, lovingly referred to by devotees as “Antilia cha Raja (King of Antilia),” has become a centerpiece of the Ambani family’s annual celebration. Mukesh Ambani’s younger brother, Anil Ambani, and his wife, Tina Ambani, were also in attendance during the Saturday aarti and celebrations.
First Major Event After Anant and Radhika’s Wedding
This year’s Ganesh Chaturthi marked the first major celebration for the Ambani family following the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in July. The festivities, filled with tradition, grandeur, and joy, reflected the strong cultural roots and devotion of the family, continuing their legacy of hosting one of Mumbai’s most prominent Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
