He welcomed the party’s decision to field her from Wayanad, previously represented by her brother Rahul Gandhi. He expressed optimism about her candidacy and noted the support Rahul received from Wayanad’s people as MP.
Earlier this month, Rahul Gandhi won the Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli and Wayanad and decided to give up the Kerala seat, allowing his sister to contest.
