During a recent trip to Venice, Mumbai-based industrialist Anand Mahindra encountered an amusingly familiar situation—a traffic jam. Known for its stunning landscapes, Venice surprised Mahindra with a boat traffic jam that reminded him of Mumbai’s streets, though he found it much less stressful.

Sharing the experience on the social media platform X, Mahindra posted a video of boats navigating a narrow canal and humorously likened it to Mumbai’s notorious traffic congestion. He wrote, “Traveled all the way to Venice only to run into a Mumbai-style traffic jam! (Ok, I admit this traffic pile-up is less stressful).”

The post quickly sparked reactions from users. One person commented, “In monsoons, you can visit Delhi instead of Venice. You will get a similar experience at a fraction of the cost.” Another user shared, “That’s a humorous way to put it! It’s funny how certain experiences, like traffic jams, can be so universally familiar, even in a city as picturesque as Venice. And it’s good to know that this one is a bit more relaxing!”

Despite the lighthearted take, many users expressed admiration for Venice’s serene beauty. One remarked, “No honking, no pollution, I’d take this any day.” Another simply added, “It is a great place to visit.”
