An Israeli bomb hit a tent camp in Khan Younis on Sunday. The airstrike killed at least 24 Palestinians, including women and children. Local health officials confirmed that the victims were living in makeshift shelters. The explosion also injured many people and set several tents on fire.

Heavy Bombing Kills Hundreds Over 72 Hours

Israel ramped up its military operations in the Gaza Strip. Over the past three days, strikes have killed hundreds of Palestinians. Medical workers reported numerous civilian deaths, especially among families seeking refuge.

Trump Visits Region, But Violence Continues

U.S. President Donald Trump visited the area during the surge in violence. However, the strikes did not stop. The Gaza health ministry stated that Israeli attacks continued, killing hundreds.

Hamas Condemns Attack, Blames U.S.

Hamas responded with strong criticism. In a statement on Sunday, the group called the strike a “new brutal crime.” It also blamed the U.S. for the worsening conflict due to its support of Israel.

Israeli Military Sticks to Its War Plan

The Israeli army did not comment on the latest airstrike. Earlier, it had said it was carrying out large-scale attacks in Gaza to achieve its war goals.

Ceasefire Talks Restart, But No Breakthrough

At the same time, Egypt and Qatar, backed by the United States, resumed indirect ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas. The negotiations began on Saturday in Doha. Yet, sources told Reuters that the talks showed no progress. Both sides refused to change their positions.
