Ayodhya’s Hanuman Garhi temple priest Mahant Raju Das cast his vote on Monday in Ayodhya and said that for the upliftment, development and establishment of India on the global stage, everyone should have to come out of their homes and exercise their right to vote.

“I have cast my vote. I appeal to everyone to come out of their homes and exercise their right to vote. Vote for the upliftment of India, for India’s development, and for establishing India on the global stage. Strengthen PM Modi’s hand. This time more than 400 seats, and once again, PM Modi,” Das said.

Addressing those who oppose Sanatan Dharma, he remarked, “I have nothing to say to those who are against Sanatan Dharma. They are finished; they have no vision or mission. Those who say that Sanatan is like Corona, Dengue, or Malaria are neither for Ram nor for my work.”

Earlier on Monday, after casting his ballot, Lallu Singh, the sitting MP from Ayodhya and the BJP contender for the seat, expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory and stated that the people are voting for “Viksit Bharat” and to elect Narendra Modi to the Prime Minister position for a third time.

Voters are supporting Viksit Bharat, Viksit Ayodhya, and PM Modi’s reelection as prime minister three times. The development of Ayodhya is a relatively new project. Ayodhya will emerge as the world’s most picturesque location, Singh told ANI.
He went on to say that PM Modi is the only one who has considered the welfare of the average person since India gained its independence.

“After so many years of independence, PM Modi is the only person who has thought about the welfare of the common man. Modi ji has received immense love from the people,” the BJP leader said.

Under strict security and preparations, voting in 49 parliamentary constituencies located in six states and two Union Territories (UTs) got underway on Monday morning.
Voting opened at 7 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. Those who were in line at closing time could still cast ballots. There will be important elections in several constituencies during the fifth phase. Election success is sought after by figures including Rahul Gandhi, Omar Abdullah, the chairman of the JKNC, Smriti Irani, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Piyush Goyal, Ujjwal Nikam, Karan Bhushan Singh, LJP (Ramvilas) chief Chirag Paswan, and RJD leader Rohini Acharya.

The Samajwadi Party’s Awadhesh Prasad faces up against BJP MP Lallu Singh (SP). In addition to Samajwadi Party leader Awadhesh Prasad, Ayodhya-based Sachhidanand Pandey of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is also contesting.

Five Vidhan Sabha or assembly segments make up the Faizabad/Ayodhya Lok Sabha constituency: Ayodhya, Bikapur, Milkipur, Rudauli, and Dariyabad (Barabanki).
A year into his first term as chief minister, in November 2018, the state government formally renamed the Faizabad district as Ayodhya, in a significant decision made by the Yogi administration.Lallu Singh, a member of the BJP, is running for a third term in Ayodhya, and his main platform this year is building the Ram Mandir.

On June 4, the outcomes of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections will be declared.
