An American travel vlogger, Colin, known for his attempt to get food poisoning by sampling street food in Pakistan, is now trying the same challenge in India. Despite his efforts, he has had minimal success in either country.

Colin recently shared a video from Delhi, where he embarked on a street food tour with the aim of inducing food poisoning. He sought out some of the “strangest things to eat” in the city, starting with dal kachori, which he described as delicious. He then sampled samosas, which he found “really good,” and a chuski (ice lolly) that he struggled to finish, commenting that it “kind of tastes like freshly cut grass.”

Despite his quest, Colin did not end up with food poisoning. “At the end of the day, I did not get food poisoning because I am simply built different,” he said in his video, vowing to continue his quest for food poisoning in other parts of India.

Colin’s video has generated a lot of buzz on social media, amassing over 1.3 million views and more than 800 comments on Instagram.

Reactions to the video:

“You aren’t built differently! It’s Indian natural food without any American touch! This isn’t gonna hurt you! Stereotype dusted here,” one user remarked.

Another said, “I promise you, food poisoning is something that you DO NOT want to get. Bro thinks it’s a joke.”

One commented, “Amazing that you still haven’t got food poisoning.”
