AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has drawn rare praise on social media after his fiery remarks condemning the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Known for his sharp critiques and often at odds with BJP supporters, Owaisi lashed out at the perpetrators of the attack, which claimed at least 26 lives—many of them tourists.
“Inn kano, hazaado ne jo harkat ki, wahan par naam pooch kar goli maare, samudaaya pooch kar marein, iski accountability toh honi chaiye,” Owaisi said during a press interaction in Hyderabad. “Aur yakeenan ye dehshatgar humare padosi mulk Pakistan se aaye, Pakistan ke ISI, Pakistan ka establishment, unka poora support inko haasil hai.”
He called for strict accountability for the heinous act and squarely blamed Pakistan and its intelligence agency ISI for supporting the terrorists. “Yeh jo harqat kiye hain k***e, inko saza milna zaroori hai,” Owaisi added.
‘Don’t Communalise Terror’: Owaisi’s Message to India
Owaisi cautioned against turning the attack into a communal issue, warning that it would play into the hands of the terrorists’ masters.
“You are making every Muslim gunaahgar (culprit)… Terror has no religion. The people who are killed the most in Kashmir are Kashmiri Muslims,” he stated. “They are terrorists, dogs who follow the ideology of ISIS… You cannot generalise the great religion of Islam.”

He further said, “By doing so aap unn ka***ne shaitan, jo baithe hai Pakistan mein unhein khush kar rahein hai.”
Appeal for Peaceful Protest
Owaisi also issued an emotional appeal to Indian Muslims, urging them to wear black armbands during Friday prayers.
“By doing this, we will send the message that we Indians will not let foreign forces weaken the peace and unity of India,” he said in a video message. “Because of this attack, the terrorists have got an opportunity to target our Kashmiri brothers. I appeal to all Indians not to fall prey to the tricks of the enemy.”
Public Applause for Owaisi’s Bold Stand
His remarks quickly went viral, with many social media users comparing him favorably to other opposition leaders. One user commented, “Owaisi ne woh kaha jo secular leaders jaise Rahul Gandhi aur Akhilesh nahi keh paaye.”
The terror attack in Pahalgam left the nation reeling. As per official records, the attack was carried out by armed terrorists dressed in military fatigues who targeted tourists in the Baisaran valley. Many were killed on the spot in the 30-minute assault, which was launched with automatic weapons.
