Year-Round Mango Delight: Bihar Farmer Grows Mangoes in Every Season

While summer might not be everyone’s favorite season, it does bring the eagerly awaited mangoes. These juicy fruits are loved by many and looked forward to each year. However, the dream of having mangoes available all year has seemed impossible—until now. Akhilesh Chaudhary, a farmer from Darbhanga, Bihar, has changed the game with his orchard of mango trees that bear fruit throughout the year. Yes, you read that right. These unique trees can simultaneously produce flowers, raw mangoes, and ripe mangoes.

Akhilesh Chaudhary’s Remarkable Orchard

Chaudhary has cultivated dozens of mango trees in his orchard, ensuring a continuous supply of mangoes. In an interview, he said, “The mangoes are available in every season of the year except some months. During those months, the mangoes ripe.” His dedication is clear as he has created a system where the trees start blooming as soon as the mangoes are ripe, maintaining a constant cycle of production. People are often amazed by the variety of mangoes available in his orchard.

The Taste and Quality of These Unique Mangoes

When asked about the taste, Chaudhary told,  “The mangoes are very sweet in taste, and people often love them. The uniqueness of these trees is that in one tree, you can find flowers, unripe mangoes, and ripe mangoes at the same time. People often get amazed by seeing such kinds of trees.” He also mentioned that these special trees were brought from Muzaffarpur. Regarding their weight, he added, “All the mangoes weigh around 500 grams or more. None of the fruits you will find here will be less than 500 grams.”

With this innovative approach, Chaudhary has made it possible to enjoy delicious mangoes all year round, much to the delight of mango lovers everywhere.
