A shocking incident involving a grieving pet owner assaulting a veterinary doctor has gone viral on social media, stirring strong reactions online. Captured on CCTV, the video shows a woman physically attacking a vet after her pet dog passed away during treatment.
What Happened?
The incident occurred on April 17 at an undisclosed veterinary clinic. As seen in the viral footage, the woman had brought her pug for treatment and was visibly distraught when the dog died during the procedure. Enraged, she began assaulting the female veterinarian attending to the pet.
The video shows the dog lying on a bed with an oxygen mask while three doctors, including a female veterinarian, are present. When the pet stops responding, the woman is seen losing control, pulling the doctor’s hair and hitting her inside the clinic.

Not the First Time
This incident reminds many of a similar episode in December 2022, when a woman in Pune attacked a vet after her cat died during treatment. The doctor in that case suffered severe injuries and had to be hospitalized.
While the current video has triggered widespread condemnation, authorities are yet to identify the clinic or confirm whether any legal action has been taken against the woman.
