In Bengaluru, a heated argument erupted between a cab driver and a female passenger over the drop-off location. The dispute began when the woman, sitting in the backseat, asked the driver to take a right turn at a junction. The driver explained that he was following the route shown on the Rapido app. However, the woman, checking her own navigation on her phone, seemed to disagree.
“Maine bola aap right lo, aur aap chillane lage (I just asked you to take a right, and you started shouting),” the woman expressed in a video shared on X.

The driver, refusing to follow her directions, said, “I just said aap wait karo, main aapko location par drop kar dunga. Idhar centre mein right nahi hai (I just told you to wait. I’ll drop you at your location. There’s no right turn here at the centre of the road).”
Despite the driver’s efforts to calm her down, the woman insisted, “Maine bas bola main road par le lo (I just asked you to get it to the main road).”
As the video gained attention on social media, many users sided with the driver. One commented, “If there’s no right turn allowed, how’s it the driver’s fault? People fight over anything these days.”
Another user supported the driver, saying, “Cab driver is right here and he is trying to make the girl understand what’s right, that too in a kind way but the girl just is not understanding at all. Rapido uses Google Maps for navigation so it’s highly unlikely the map would show incorrect directions.”
A different user speculated that the woman may have had ‘anxiety issues’ and praised the driver for “being so calm and trying to explain every bit.” The video has garnered over 90,000 views on X.
