Woman Gives Birth On Telangana Bus, Conductor And Nurse Ensure Safety

A routine bus ride in Telangana turned into an extraordinary event when a pregnant woman unexpectedly went into labor. The woman, traveling on a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus from Gadwal to Wanaparthy, suddenly developed labor pains, prompting quick action from those onboard.

The bus was immediately halted, and a female conductor, G Bharati, stepped in to assist with the delivery. As luck would have it, a nurse was also traveling on the bus, and together, they ensured the safe birth of a baby girl.

The Managing Director of TGSRTC, VC Sajjanar, praised the conductor for her quick thinking and compassionate response. He shared a photo of the conductor with the newborn and mother on social media, stating, “The mother and child are safe because of her promptness and timely delivery with the help of the nurse.”

The mother and baby were taken to a nearby hospital for further care and are reported to be in good health. The incident has drawn widespread admiration online, with many users commending the conductor and nurse for their heroic actions. One user commented, “All heroes don’t wear capes,” while others suggested that the conductor be rewarded for her service.
