A horrifying road accident in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district has left citizens shocked after a woman was fatally struck by a speeding SUV while attempting to cross a highway. The entire incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera and has since surfaced on social media.

The woman, walking along the roadside with a steel pot on her head, approached a pedestrian crossing through a barrier gap. Just as she began crossing cautiously, a white SUV appeared at high speed and rammed into her, barely meters from the crosswalk.

The clip, shared by X user @VishooSingh, showed the pot on the woman’s head being shattered on the divider from the impact. She was thrown into the air and rolled over the car’s hood multiple times before hitting the ground. The car, significantly damaged at the front, did not stop and sped away.
