A dramatic incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar has taken social media by storm, after a video surfaced showing a woman physically assaulting another woman at her residence in Alipur Khurd village. The victim is alleged to be the wife’s husband’s girlfriend.
Wife Confronts Husband’s Alleged Affair
According to reports, the confrontation began after the wife discovered her husband had been speaking frequently with a younger woman. Fueled by suspicion and anger, she decided to confront the woman directly. Without hesitation, she barged into her house and began shouting, creating a scene in front of locals.

In the now-viral footage, the woman can be seen slapping, dragging, and pulling the other woman’s hair. Bystanders attempted to intervene, but the situation escalated rapidly and turned violent. One onlooker recorded the entire altercation on a mobile phone, and the video was soon widely circulated on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
Police Take Cognizance of Viral Video
As of now, no official complaint has been filed, but the Muzaffarnagar Police have acknowledged the viral clip. Taking to social media, the Uttar Pradesh Police wrote: “@muzafarnagarpol – Please investigate and take necessary action. @wpl1090.”
Authorities have since directed local police to look into the matter. An investigation is underway to determine the full context of the incident and whether legal action will be taken.
While the video has sparked varied reactions—some sympathizing with the wife and others condemning the use of violence—law enforcement officials maintain that due process will follow once the inquiry concludes.
