Watch: Serbian Influencer’s Escaping Bear Den After Close Encounter

Serbian influencer Stefan Jankovic faced a harrowing experience when he accidentally entered a bear’s den, resulting in a tense encounter with the massive animal. Jankovic, who was documenting his time in the forest, shared two dramatic videos on social media, showing his startling face-to-face meeting with the bear.

The first clip reveals Jankovic sitting at the bottom of the den as the bear cautiously approaches. In a bid to avoid provoking the animal, he slowly exits the den. The footage then shifts to Jankovic emerging from the den just as the bear arrives, with the animal sniffing him and his cell phone in curiosity.

The second video depicts Jankovic climbing a tree to escape two inquisitive bears below, with the overlay text reading, “When you have nowhere to run.” The clips have attracted widespread attention online, amassing nearly 70 million views. Commentators have remarked on the influencer’s calm demeanor, which many believe contributed to his survival.

Serbia, where this incident occurred, is home to European brown bears, particularly in regions like Tara National Park, which hosts around 60 bears.
