Star Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, features in a new advertisement for the food delivery app Swiggy. The ad, which highlights a couple’s teamwork in managing household chores, has garnered significant attention and praise online.
In the commercial, Sajdeh is seen scrolling through her phone and asking Sharma, who is sitting beside her, if he wants to order anything. She inquires, “Instamart kar rahi hun, want anything?”
Unable to articulate his request, Sharma makes a hand gesture and says, “Woh.” Sajdeh understands his gesture and adds disposable cups to the cart. Sharma continues to use hand gestures to indicate other grocery items he wants, showcasing how well Sajdeh understands him while humorously referencing Sharma’s habit of using “Yeh” and “Woh” instead of specific terms.
This habit was humorously noted by his colleague Virat Kohli in a recent interview that went viral, where he mentioned Sharma’s tendency to refer to things with vague terms.
Sharing the advertisement video on Instagram, Sajdeh captioned it, “Caption Ro caption. Adding badaam to the cart to.”

One fan wrote, “Ek icc trophy bhi instamart kar dena,” while another commented, “He is not a cricketer he is also actor.” A third user remarked, “Connection between Ro and his Wo,” and another fan noted, “The most beautiful and lovely couple of the Cricket World.”
Sharma and Sajdeh married on December 13, 2015, in a star-studded ceremony at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End Hotel, after dating for nearly six years. Reports state that Sharma proposed to Sajdeh at the Borivali Sports Club in Mumbai. Sajdeh, a sports event manager, also manages Sharma’s cricket engagements as his manager.
