Watch: Man Hits Passenger With Slipper Inside Delhi Metro Goes Viral

The Delhi Metro, renowned for its convenience, has also become a hub for viral content, showcasing everything from public displays of affection to spontaneous dance performances. Despite numerous warnings from authorities, such incidents persist. Recently, a video surfaced online depicting a brawl between two individuals inside a metro compartment.

In the viral footage, a man is seen removing his slipper and striking another man standing near the door. The slipper lands on the man’s face, provoking an angry reaction. The man retaliates by slapping the attacker, causing him to fall. The situation escalates as the man grabs the attacker by the neck from behind. As the confrontation continues, the individual attempts to distance himself, but the attacker grabs his leg in an effort to stop him. Despite this, he manages to escape as another passenger intervenes, ending the altercation and preventing further conflict. The date of the incident remains unverified, but the video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Kalesh b/w Two Guys inside Metro (Fight between two guys inside Delhi Metro).”

The clip, posted just a day ago, has garnered significant attention online, sparking a variety of reactions in the comments.

One user humorously remarked, “Delhi metro is full of entertainment nowadays. You can see action scenes, romance, love-making, gossip, and songs.” Another sarcastically added, “Delhi metro has the calmest passengers compared to any metro in the world. Free entertainment and broadcast reality show every day. No one can beat Delhi metro; only passengers get beaten.”

Another comment read, “Delhi metro and lafda (drama) never-ending love story.”

The humorous comments kept pouring in, with remarks like, “Delhi metro is always in the limelight,” and “Metro kalesh is entertainment.”

One individual quipped, “Bro waited his entire life just to get hit by a slow slipper shot,” while another added, “He calmly took off his slipper and hit him without any hurry.”

Meanwhile, one user shared, “It looks like he is drunk. How can someone take out slippers and beat another person inside the metro? Hopefully, Delhi Police will take strict action and prevent such people from entering the metro.”

The viral video has accumulated over 1 million views so far.
