WATCH: Mahindra Bolero Cruises Through Floods in Kerela; Rescues Victims – Viral Video

A recent video showcasing a Mahindra Bolero navigating through severe floods in Kerala has gone viral, accumulating over 13 million views and 250,000 shares on social media. The footage reveals the SUV nearly submerged in floodwaters, with only its windows visible above the waterline. Despite the harrowing conditions, the occupants of the Bolero are seen helping others to safety, with some of the rescued individuals sitting on the vehicle’s roof as it maneuvers through the floodwaters.

The Mahindra Bolero, known for its sturdy build and off-road capabilities, has been praised for its reliability and strength in these extreme conditions. The vehicle has long been popular in rural and semi-urban areas due to its rugged construction. Before the introduction of newer models like the Thar, XUV700, and Scorpio N, the Bolero was a major revenue generator for Mahindra. The SUV continues to be a significant part of Mahindra’s lineup, selling approximately 7,000-8,000 units monthly, including the Bolero Neo, and accounting for about 20% of Mahindra’s total passenger vehicle sales.

The devastating floods in Kerala have caused widespread damage, displacing thousands and resulting in substantial loss of life and property. The video highlights the Bolero’s performance in such dire conditions, reinforcing its reputation for durability and reliability.
