The event began when villagers, disturbed by the barking of multiple dogs in the early hours, stepped outside and were shocked to find a large crocodile in their alley. The unusual appearance quickly attracted a crowd of onlookers.

In a video shared on X, the scene shows the crocodile surrounded by curious residents. The reptile is seen in a standoff with the crowd, while three men attempt to coax it away by poking it with sticks. The goal appears to be guiding the crocodile away from the spectators.

The villagers contacted the forest department for help, but despite being notified promptly, the team arrived about two hours later. During this wait, the crocodile continued to roam the village streets for an additional two to three hours, increasing the panic among residents.
