Watch: Bus Conductor’s Quick Reflex Saves Passenger from Dangerous Fall in Kerala

A bus conductor in Kerala is being praised for his heroic act of saving a man from falling off a moving bus. A video of the incident, showing the conductor’s quick reflexes that prevented a potentially dangerous fall, has gone viral on social media.

Shared on X with the caption, “Kerala: Bus conductor casually saves a man using some magical instinct,” the CCTV footage captures the moment when a man, while standing next to the bus conductor and another passenger to collect his ticket, loses his balance and starts to fall. In a split-second reaction, the bus conductor grabs hold of the man’s hand, preventing him from falling off the moving bus. Another person can be seen closing the makeshift door of the bus using a rope.

Commenting on the video, one person wrote, “It looks like it’s his daily job to save people casually,” while another added, “Blessing of the divine.”

In a similar act of quick thinking and bravery, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable in Uttarakhand recently saved a man from almost getting crushed by a moving train at Haridwar’s Laksar railway station. The constable, Uma, rushed to help the passenger who had slipped and become trapped between the train and the platform while boarding the Kolkata Jammu Tawi Express. With the help of onlookers, Uma safely pulled the man out after the train made an emergency stop.
