A man from Odisha has become the centre of online buzz for his uncanny resemblance to Indian cricket star Virat Kohli. The viral video, captured at the Ananta Vasudev Temple in Bhubaneswar, shows the man distributing prasad among devotees. His facial features and beard left many stunned, instantly reminding fans of the RCB batter.

Video Intended to Showcase Temple Kitchen Sparks Unexpected Reactions

A content creator who visited the temple originally aimed to highlight its massive kitchen and the variety of prasad served. However, as the camera panned to the man handling the distribution, the internet couldn’t help but fixate on his resemblance to Kohli.

Hilarious Fan Comments Flood Social Media

Once the video made its way from YouTube to other social media platforms, reactions poured in—some joking, some confused. Some fans even speculated whether artificial intelligence (AI) was used to alter the man’s face. Others couldn’t resist poking fun.

One user said, “Bro finally became the pooja path type.” Another joked, “This is Virat Kohli when not playing cricket.” A third quipped, “So Kohli never left for the UK? Instead, he started serving the mandir?”

Some took it a step further. “What will happen to the match (IPL 2025 final) now?” asked one. “This is the bodybuilder version of Kohli,” wrote another. A fan labelled the man the “Judwaa (twin brother) of Virat Kohli,” while one added, “He seems to have figured out what to do after retirement.”

Kohli Focused on IPL Final Amid Viral Doppelganger Moment

Meanwhile, the real Virat Kohli is gearing up for the IPL 2025 final in Ahmedabad on June 3. Playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kohli has delivered a strong performance this season, ranking fifth in the Orange Cap standings with 614 runs in 14 innings.

Known for his spiritual leanings, Kohli often visits guru Premanand Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan with his wife, Anushka Sharma. This coincidence only fueled the online chatter once the video from Bhubaneswar surfaced.
