Viral Video: Influencer Collects 3 Kg Popcorn At PVR, Refills Tub 8 Times

Instagram influencer Sarthak Sachdeva recently grabbed attention with a viral video from his visit to a PVR cinema, where he and a friend refilled a tub of popcorn an impressive eight times, consuming each refill within just 15 minutes. By the movie’s halftime, the duo had already gone through three refills. The video, which quickly gained over a million views, caught the eye of three-time Grammy winner Ricky Kej, who humorously praised Sarthak as a “hero” in the comments.

The duo was watching the Bollywood film Bad Newz, featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. In the video, Sarthak is seen gathering popcorn in a bag, eventually amassing 3 kilograms. They shared the popcorn with fellow moviegoers before distributing it to others outside the cinema. Ricky Kej, an Indian-American musical composer and environmentalist, commented, “You are a hero, who has avenged all the overpriced popcorn that us millions have paid for, across many years.”

The video sparked a wave of amusing reactions in the comments section. One user joked, “Just imagine PVR owner watching your reel,” while another said, “Bro does everything we wanna do.” Another comment read, “That’s the way we all should unite and finish all popcorns in 400 Rs,” while someone else dubbed Sarthak a “Robinhood” for sharing the popcorn with others.

In a separate Instagram reel, Sarthak reviewed various mineral water brands, ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 1,500 per bottle. He used the most expensive bottle, priced at Rs 1,500, to water a plant. Bisleri, at Rs 20, was the least expensive, followed by a Rs 100 Himalayan water bottle. Sarthak then tried Evocus, a black water priced at Rs 200, noting that it had a strange taste. He also sampled Perrier, a sparkling water costing Rs 400, which he said irritated his throat.

The video also featured a review of Evian Water, priced at Rs 600 and favored by cricket star Virat Kohli. After tasting it, Sarthak humorously remarked, “No comments.” Lastly, he evaluated the Rs 1,500 Estuary whisky blending water, noting that it’s not meant to be consumed normally.
