In another update, in a strong response to escalating hostilities from Pakistan, Indian armed forces launched targeted strikes that destroyed several Pakistani military posts and a key terror launchpad. Official sources confirmed that the launchpad was being used to deploy tube-launched drones against Indian military infrastructure. These strikes followed a wave of drone attacks launched by Islamabad, targeting 26 locations across India—from Leh in the north to Sir Creek in the south.
Tensions remain high as Pakistan continues overnight shelling across the Line of Control. A complete blackout was enforced in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district as a precautionary measure. Tragically, a senior government official in Rajouri lost his life after a shell struck his house. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah confirmed the incident, stating, “He died after a shell hit his house.” Indian forces remain on high alert and are taking strategic steps to neutralize further threats.
