Vendor Selling Mud-Filled ‘Power Banks’ On Train Exposed: Viral Video

A viral video showing a passenger confronting a vendor allegedly selling fake power banks filled with mud has stirred up controversy on social media. Shared by Sankott, an X user, the one-minute clip captured the passenger’s encounter with the vendor aboard a sleeper coach train.

In the video, the vendor is seen approaching passengers, offering power banks with assurances of authenticity and a one-year warranty. When asked for a quality check, the passenger opened the power bank, revealing it was filled with mud instead of electronic components. The vendor attempted to snatch the power bank back, clearly caught off guard by the passenger’s discovery.

The incident has been labeled as “Scam 2024” by social media users, highlighting concerns over deceptive practices targeting train passengers. Many commenters shared their own experiences of falling victim to similar scams, urging others to be cautious of counterfeit products.

This revelation has sparked outrage among consumers and raised questions about the prevalence of such fraudulent activities. Authorities are yet to comment on the incident, but the video has prompted widespread awareness about the risks of purchasing counterfeit goods, particularly during travel.
