Tourist Shares Frustration Over Taj Mahal Visit With Elderly Father In Viral Video

During the busy tourism season, travelers from across the globe are visiting Agra to see the Taj Mahal. A recent viral video featured a father and son from Uzbekistan expressing their frustration during their visit. The pair arrived at the Taj Mahal on November 26, only to encounter long lines at the security entrance. The tourist, named Nurad, filmed the situation and shared it on social media.

In the video, Nurad voiced his displeasure with the lengthy queues and called on the Indian government to create a separate line for foreign tourists to simplify the process. He said, “I have travelled to more than 70 countries so far. Today, I am in India to visit the Taj Mahal. I am very happy to be here, but I would like to request the Government of India to improve one thing. The security system here needs to be addressed. Because so many local tourists visit the Taj Mahal, as a foreign tourist, I would prefer a separate line for us so that we don’t face problems when entering.” He also mentioned that his elderly father had to endure the long wait, causing him considerable discomfort.

Following the video’s spread, the issue sparked debate. Some people supported the tourist’s concerns. In response, Prince Vajpayee, a conservation assistant at the Taj Mahal, clarified, “There is a separate arrangement for foreign tourists to enter the Taj Mahal. However, once inside, all visitors undergo the same security procedures, with no separate line for anyone. The reason for this is that security cannot be compromised at the Taj Mahal. The video shared by the foreign tourist reflects his personal perspective.”
