Tinder Date Turns Memorable At Team India’s Victory Parade

Yashi Verma, a user of the dating app Tinder, experienced what she described as her “perfect first date” when she met her match at Team India’s victory parade in Mumbai on July 4. Thousands of fans gathered at Marine Drive to celebrate the T20 World Cup victory of the Indian team. Virat Kohli’s open-bus parade, where he blew flying kisses to the crowd, was a highlight of the evening. Yashi shared in her viral post: “My Tinder date had me catching flying kisses from Kohli at the victory parade. Best first date ever.”

One of the photos showed Yashi and her Tinder match posing with the national flag, capturing the memorable occasion. Another image from the parade had an epic caption: “For every November 19, there is a June 29.”

Social media users enthusiastically encouraged Yashi, suggesting she should marry her match, especially since he was a Kohli fan, making him “husband material.”

Following the parade, Wankhede Stadium hosted a celebration with dance and music, reminiscent of India’s victory in the ODI World Cup in 2011 under MS Dhoni’s captaincy.

Earlier, Team India had breakfast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg upon their return to New Delhi after their triumphant T20 World Cup win.
